IT Veterans seeking a highly motivated Cisco & Aruba Network Engineer to join our team. You must have an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a full scope poly.
Job Responsibilities:-Network switching/routing (vendor agnostic) and Aruba WLAN, activities may include, but not limited to:
-Worked with IP routing technologies such as BGP, MP-BGP, OSPF, MPLS, L2-VPNs
-Delivered network connectivity using platforms such as Arista 7K, Cisco 9K, Cisco catalyst, Cisco 6800
-Performed as a technology vendor or system integrator, designing and implementing data networking products and technologies.
-Experience with Arista and Cisco low latency switches.
-Experience with IP Routing Platforms such as ISRg2, ASR1K, CRS-1/4/8, ASR 9k, CRS - X
-Worked with solutions such as VxLAN, defense in Depth architecture, network security concepts, switching technologies, DMVPN
-Provide assistance in network operational support and workflow creation
-Provide support with executing verification tests on network design, configuration, interoperability, operating features, and functionality
-Proactively monitor and assess Aruba TAC trouble tickets to identify systemic patterns on your network; support you and Aruba TAC on P1/P2 tickets, and help perform root cause analysis of requested TAC cases
-Provide technical lead role in design, planning, testing, scaling, and implementation of HPE Aruba wireless solutions into network infrastructure
-Support Aruba hardware failures and RMA process
-Support design, configuration, and implementation of Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager and Aruba AirWave to provide security and management of the Aruba wireless infrastructure
-Perform analysis of site survey and RF spectrum information to help deploy and troubleshoot Aruba access point distribution and tuning
-Collaborate with IT engineering team(s) on planning, design, and implementation meetings to define requirements and methodologies for deployment or optimization of an Aruba wireless network
-Collaborate with IT engineering team(s) to integrate and utilize Aruba product features and functions to enhance and create new business solutions for your company or to give users enhanced mobility services
-Provide informal technical knowledge transfer
-Provide Pre-service and Post-Deployment technical support
-Proactively analyze and recommend ways to optimize the Aruba WLAN solutions
-Collaborate in the development of mobility solutions, building test beds; conduct verification & validation testing; develop performance benchmarks
-Educate and expand customer technical expertise through informal workshops, coaching sessions, design reviews, and documentation for customer use
Required Qualifications:-Experienced in DoD PKI implementations
-Experienced in Log aggregation solutions (Splunk)
-Experienced in firewall integration, implementation and configuration
-TS/SCI clearance required.
